Land Rover has confirmed that the new Defender has taken part in the filming of the 25th James Bond film called No Time to Die. The automaker also spoke about the car from the film with "Russian" license plates and showed a video made during the filming of the tape.

- The filmmakers chose the five-door Land Rover Defender 110 X, fitted with 20-inch wheels and off-road tires. Cars participating in stunt stunts received a roll cage and racing seats. The batch of prepared off-road vehicles was the first to come off the assembly line of the JLR plant in Nitra, Slovakia.

In the X modification, the Defender is equipped with a top-end 400-horsepower hybrid installation, consisting of a three-liter inline gasoline "turbo six" and a 48-volt starter-generator. This SUV accelerates to 100 km / h in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 191 km / h (208 km / h on 22-inch wheels).
- The new part of Bondiana will be released in the spring of 2020. Land Rover said that in addition to the new Defender, the film will feature a classic version of the model, as well as the Range Rover Sport SVR and the original Range Rover.
