But for a car with a length of 3.9 meters (yeah, Raize is shorter than "Crete"), more is not needed. But this cannot be said about the equipment: the mini-Toyot is well-equipped and in the "top" is ready to offer adaptive cruise control with lane departure monitoring, digital tidy and a 9-inch media screen. But there, behind the cool name, hides a generally not too fresh and familiar from Renault Duster and Kaptur "cart" B0. And here, at Juke, almost everything is new and very interesting. MazdCX-3

Compact "almost premium"! If we are not talking about the realities of the Russian market, but about purely personal fantasies, then why not? Today, a Russian ticket to the Mazd world starts at 1,490,000 rubles for a Mazda3 hatch. And the compact CX-3 is essentially the "parquet" alter-ego of its younger sister, Mazda2. In Europe, the price difference between the "troikas" is about five thousand euros (350,000 rubles) in favor of the cross. Let's say that there will be no diesel version of the MazdCX-3 with a 115-horsepower Skyactiv-D engine in Russia. But why don't we have a petrol version of Skyactiv-E with a modified "four" with a capacity of 121 or 150 forces? In the first case, the "three-crossover" will be with the front, and in the second - with all four leading. How do you like that?

VW Tharu

With the 4.5-meter "Tara" (with an emphasis on "a"), everything is more or less clear: a compact crossover with Chinese roots and VAG motors already familiar from other Russian models should reach Russia and even localize at the Nizhny Novgorod assembly plant of the GAZ group - in the same place where SkodKodiaq is now produced. The 4.1-meter Kon has charisma in his eyes, interesting design solutions banish boredom, and the price tag of 18,000 euros (about 1.3 million rubles) is more than four thousand euros lower than that of Tussan (in Russia - from 1,499,000 rubles). Let's put aside the hybrid and purely electric versions of the crossover, pay attention to the basic 120-horsepower turbo engine, add the optional four-wheel drive, estimate the traditionally decent equipment for Hyundai and get the Cretu with a plus (though Kon is a little shorter). It is a pity that Kona's debut in Russia, with Cret alive and well, is a pure utopia.

Ford Puma

Direct rival Kone has no time for Russia either. Like the entire Ford company: today the brand's model range in our country has been reduced to commercial vans. How there is in the future is completely unclear, but the new Pum (now in the status of a compact crossover) could compete for our hearts and wallets. The Fiesta-sized crossover is tiny and cute - much nicer than the old EcoSport. At the same time, the trunk of 456 liters claims to be the leader in the class, and a set of options and active safety systems allows you to "screw" the crossover to a very decent level. Among other things, a contactless trunk release, massage (!), A digital device with a 12.3-inch screen, Bang & Olufsen music, an active Co-Pilot360 complex with cruise control, wide-angle cameras and monitoring are offered. Motor? A liter EcoBoost turbo engine with 125 or 155 horsepower. Seductive?

Suzuki ignis

Price: from € 12 750 in Europe (0.9 million rubles)

Russia is completely unfamiliar with the current - second - generation of the Ignis crossover. Whether it is worth starting a (possible) acquaintance is not even up to you and me to decide, so let's just introduce this kid. The length of the Ignis is some 3.7 meters, which is five centimeters longer than the Jimny and 47 less than the Vitara. At the same time, a ground clearance of 170 mm (like that of the KiRio X-Line), an 89-horsepower 1.2-liter engine and an optional all-wheel drive with a viscous coupling (!) Allow us to speak of it as a full-fledged urban crossover. Alas, "inviting" a compact Ignis to Russia is so far too expensive and potentially unprofitable.
