Auction house Mecum has announced that it will hold an auction in January 2020 to sell a 1967 Ford Mustang coupe nicknamed "Eleanor." This car was featured in the 2000 film Gone in 60 Seconds, starring Nicolas Cage.

-
In total, 11 identical Mustangs were created for the filming. They received a Shelby GT500-style aerodynamic body kit and modern alloy wheels. The tuner Chip Foose worked on the design and after the release of the film, many began to remake other Mustangs for "Eleanor".
- The sold copy was used in the filming of several chase scenes. The car is equipped with a 5.8-liter V8, five-speed "mechanics" and nitrous oxide. The car also has a modified exhaust system, an additional tachometer and a large fire extinguisher.
- Before the sale of the Ford Mustang, the Eleanor was completely restored and since then it has driven only 145 kilometers. The experts of the auction house Mecum did not name the expected cost of the lot.
