The Skod company showed the first design sketches of the new Octavia's interior. The premiere of the model will take place on November 11, 2019 - first the station wagon will be presented, and a couple of weeks later - the liftback.
- The new SkodOctavi will receive a thoroughly redesigned front panel with two large screens and center ventilation deflectors pushed down. The small joystick for the transmission with a separate button for parking mode is borrowed from the eighth generation Volkswagen Golf. Just like the German hatchback, the Octavia has greatly reduced the number of physical buttons.

The SkodOctavi debuts a new two-spoke steering wheel with through holes. A translucent insert is installed in its lower part, but it is not yet known whether it is responsible for the inclusion of any function or is it just a decorative element.
- The interior of the new Octavia will have five USB-C ports, three-zone climate control, a projection screen, front massage and ventilation seats, a "sleep package" with larger rear headrests and a blanket - all these options have not been installed on the model before. The SkodOctavi will become larger and the trunk volume will increase: for the liftback - from 568 to 600 liters, and for the station wagon - from 588 to 640 liters.
