An Armored Car With Leather Trim Was Created In Chechnya

The Chechen company "Bolat" presented the first prototype of the armored vehicle of the same name. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, spoke about this in social networks.

• According to the creators, the armored car is intended for use in various special operations, for the movement of personnel of law enforcement agencies and the delivery of goods. The bonneted car has a 14-seater saloon. The front panel, upholstered in leather with diamond stitching, can become a special chic.

• The armored car is capable of protecting against any small arms, armor-piercing incendiary ammunition, F-1 and RGO grenades. It can also withstand an explosion with an explosive device weighing up to four kilograms in TNT equivalent. Bolat is designed for carrying capacity up to 6800 kilograms, and its maximum speed reaches 120 km / h.
• According to Ramzan Kadyrov, the novelty takes into account his personal proposals for additional equipment. The company also promised to finalize the armored model, taking into account the wishes of various law enforcement agencies. The date of the start of serial production of the model has not yet been reported.
