Video: Kia Futuron Concept: The Appearance Of A UFO And Four Electric Motors

Ki showcased the Futuron concept electric vehicle at the International Import Expo in Shanghai. According to the creators, its appearance is inspired by flying saucers.

-
KiFuturon front and rear optics are designed in the form of radiator grilles. Like the concept Imagine by Kia, the novelty has a new brand logo without an oval frame, which is in no hurry to appear on production models. The two-door Futuron turned out to be longer in length than the Sorento Prime - 4850 mm versus 4800, and in terms of the wheelbase - 3000 mm instead of 2780.
- Despite the decent dimensions, there are only four seats in the KiFuturon. The front seats, made of flexible composite materials, can be folded into a horizontal position. There are displays both on the front panel and on the door cards and steering wheel.
- The conceptual crossover is equipped with all-wheel drive, realized through four motor-wheels. The battery is located under the passenger compartment floor. Also for the model, the autopilot of the penultimate, fourth level is announced, the sensors of which are built into the panoramic roof.
It's better not to dream of producing an electric KiFuturon. The company said that the concept will share with future production models only some details of the exterior.
