The Kaliningrad enterprise Avtotor has begun production of the third generation KiSoul model using the full CKD cycle - with welding and painting of bodies. Previously, the cross-hatch was assembled in the same place, but in a small-knot method, with a lower percentage of localization.

- All KiSoul modifications available for the Russian market are produced in Kaliningrad using the changed technology. Three petrol engines are offered for them: a 1.6-liter with 120 hp, a 147-hp two-liter (both are atmospheric), and a 1.6 turbo engine with 200 hp. for the top performance GT Line.
-
The first engine is combined with six-speed "mechanics" and "automatic", the second - only with an automatic transmission, the third - with a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches. The drive is exclusively front-wheel drive.
- The Russian cost for the KiSoul of a small-knot assembly was announced back in April, and cross-hatches, produced in a full cycle, received only the same price tags - from 1,029,900 to 1,629,900 rubles.
In addition to the Soul, the second generation Sorento crossover and the Cerato sedans of two generations - the third and fourth - are produced at Avtotor on a full cycle.
