After the update, the Tucson's interior has become even less Asian, for which thanks to the new front panel. Anything that is not super soft is at least pliable. And what is not malleable is of high quality and pleasant to the touch or to the eye. In addition to the eternal blue backlight, which is still annoying eyesight and makes you think about improvements. And in combination with the beige interior, it also gets out of the general mood - here it would be some kind of warm illumination, like in Kia.

Otherwise, the inner world of Tucson is almost an example of ergonomics, filling and reasonable quality. The redesigned "top" of the front panel looks more interesting and more expensive, the media complex in the spirit of the times has climbed up and is about to gain full autonomy. And attention to detail and the absence of noticeable jambs have long been the norm for most Korean salons. Including this one.

The crossover is based on the same, albeit decently modernized, chassis with a front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link. But the new body has changed qualitatively: it is 48 percent stiffer at once, and Tucson has a stable five-star reputation in the world safety ratings. Say, can't everything be so good in an artless Korean crossover? And you will be right, because there are problems with the suspension. Whatever one may say, no matter how you give compliments in advance, outside of good asphalt the short-stroke chassis of "Tussana" gives up: it stiffens, punches and, in general, does not indulge in comfort. On country paths - those with bumps and holes - you catch yourself thinking that the budget Cret is more solid and expensive.
