In Russia, They Started Assembling Another "Chinese"

On the conveyor of the Haval plant, which was launched in the summer of 2019, the third model, the H9 frame SUV, was installed. In the near future, such cars will appear at dealers, according to the website "Chinese Cars". In addition to the H9, the plant produces the F7 and F7x crossovers.

So far, only the first generation SUV will be available on the Russian market, while the next H9 is already on sale in China. Representatives of Haval explained this by the fact that the equipment for assembly was brought to the Tula plant before the model changed generations. Now it is not profitable to take away the old equipment and bring the new one.

The Russian-assembled Haval H9 will be available with five and seven seats. There are two engines: two-liter gasoline or diesel engines with a capacity of 245 and 190 horsepower, respectively. The gearbox is only an eight-speed "automatic", and the drive is extremely full. Now the starting price of the SUV is slightly more than 2.5 million rubles. It is not known whether the locally assembled Haval H9 will be cheaper than the imported one. However, the official website of the manufacturer indicates that the current prices are valid until the end of October.

According to Avto.ru, from January to September 2019, 6.3 thousand new Havals were registered in Russia, which is almost 4 times more than a year ago. The brand's most popular model is the H6 crossover, accounting for 63% of sales. There are only 536 full-size H9 SUVs registered (double the number a year earlier).
