Tuner Porsche Is Preparing Its Own Hypercar With "mechanics"

German studio Gemballa, which has been refining Porsche cars for almost 40 years, showed images of its first model of its own. It will be a mid-engined coupe with large air intakes and a wing.

• Initially, the model, which has no name yet, will be offered with a gasoline engine producing over 800 horsepower and a manual transmission. A more powerful hybrid modification will appear later.

• The declared technical characteristics are impressive: from a standstill to 100 km / h, the hypercar should accelerate in less than 2.5 seconds, and to 200 km / h in 6.5 seconds. The Bugatti Chiron has the same performance with a 1500-horsepower eight-liter W16. However, it is not known which modification of the Gemball hypercar these characteristics belong to - gasoline or hybrid.
• The tuners are set to build the first prototype of their own coupe in early 2020. If all goes according to plan, serial production will start two years later.
