Lamborghini has revealed details about the racing version of the Urus crossover with the ST-X prefix. The car is unchanged from the concept shown a year ago. Differences from the standard Urus are in the installation of a carbon fiber hood with large air vents, a wing on the tailgate, a roll cage, a fire extinguishing system and a FIFT3 fuel tank. Maximum relief has reduced curb weight by 25 percent, and the crossover now weighs 1,650 kilograms.
Petrol engine 4.0 V8 with 650 hp (850 Nm) and the eight-speed "automatic" remained unchanged. The first race of the Lamborghini Urus ST-X Mono Cup will take place as part of the Super Trofeo Championship Finals in Italy, which will take place at the end of October 2020. Later crossover races will take place in Europe and the Middle East - both on asphalt and on sand or gravel. Any customer who buys the Urus ST-X will receive technical support from Lamborghini.
