BMW Quartet Retains Huge Concept Grille

A photo from one of the BMW plants has appeared on the web, which shows a car with exactly the same grille as that of the Concept 4 coupe, presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The picture was posted by a user under the nickname wilcoblok.

• During the premiere of the concept, the creators stated that it repeats 85 percent of the future commercial version of the 4 Series coupe and, apparently, the grille is also included in these percentages. Its shape is inspired by BMW models from the 1930s.
• In addition to the elongated "nostrils", the BMW 4 Series Coupe will receive large imprints on the hood, repeating them, as well as headlights of a simpler shape than the soplatform model of the 3 Series in the G20 body. There is also the possibility that only the top version of the M4 will get the huge grille, and the standard coupes will be equipped with more familiar air intakes.

It is expected that the conveyor version of the second-generation BMW 4 Series Coupe will be presented in 2020. Later, there will be a convertible and a five-door Gran Coupe liftback.
