-
Standard 2.5-liter turbo diesel with 170 hp. replaced with a petrol 3.5 V6 from the SantFe crossover. The engine, combined with an eight-speed "automatic", was supplemented with two turbines, and now it develops 408 hp. (555 Nm). With it, the minivan accelerates to 100 km / h in less than five seconds.
- Also, the driftbus received a lowered suspension with adaptive shock absorbers, front brakes with four-piston calipers, an upgraded exhaust system with forked pipes and a limited-slip differential on the rear axle.
- From the Hyundai i30 N, the minivan got 19-inch wheels, a signature blue body color, a rear diffuser, a steering wheel and front seats. The splitter was taken from a tuning kit for the Nissan GT-R coupe, as it fit better in width. After all the modifications, the 2.2-ton Hyundai iMax remained eight-seater, and the ideal axle weight distribution is achieved only at full load.
Hyundai iMax N Drift Bus will participate in various brand events in Australia.
