New Skoda Octavia: First Official Images

After a series of camouflage spy shots posted on the Web, Skod has revealed the first official images of the new generation Octavi liftback. So far, we are talking only about design sketches, but it is quite possible to make a general impression of the appearance of Octavia from them.

• With the change of generation, Octavia will add in size, increasing the already voluminous trunk, return to the usual headlights instead of "four-eyed" ones, get large stampings on the sidewalls, and the lights will partially climb onto the trunk lid - for the first time in the history of the model.
• According to previously published spy photos of the cabin, it is known that the new SkodOctavi will have a two-spoke steering wheel, a thoroughly redesigned front panel with two large monitors and a small gearbox joystick with a separate button for parking mode.

• The model will be equipped with gasoline and diesel turbo engines with a volume of one to two liters, as well as hybrid power plants - "soft", with a 48-volt on-board system, and a full-fledged one, with the ability to charge the battery from the household network.

A full presentation of the new generation SkodOctavi will take place on November 11. The liftback and station wagon will be shown at a special event in Prague.
