(from 2 280 000 ₽) and M235i xDrive with a 306-horsepower two-liter "turbo four" (from 3 490 000 ₽). In other markets, there will be versions with other motors.
- Also, for the base BMW 218i Gran Coupe, a fixed configuration Online Edition is available (from 1,990,000 rubles), which can only be purchased with a prepayment on the official website of the brand. Such a car has two-tone 17-inch wheels, adaptive LED headlights, an improved audio system and heated sports front seats.
- The initial version is offered only with a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches and front-wheel drive, and the top version - with an eight-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive transmission with a rear axle clutch.

The main competitor, Mercedes-Benz CLA, in the front-wheel-drive version of the CL200 with a 1.33-liter four-cylinder engine with 150 horsepower costs at least 2,500,000 rubles, and the all-wheel drive version of the CL250 4Matic with a 224-horsepower two-liter turbo engine is more expensive by another 400,000 rubles. All variants of this Mercedes are equipped with a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches.
- Russian sales of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe sedan will begin in March 2020.
