Mazd has shown a video teaser of the new model with an all-electric power plant. The novelty will be presented at the Tokyo Motor Show, which opens on October 23, 2019.
- The short video shows only the interior details. On the central tunnel there is a small selector for driving modes and two joysticks. In current Mazdas, they are responsible for controlling the multimedia system and adjusting the volume.

Mazd said that only environmentally friendly materials with "unusual texture and high quality" are used in the interior of the electric car. It is also promised that there will be plenty of storage space inside.
- Mass production of the first Mazd electric vehicle will begin in 2020. Mazd plans to develop the next electric models with Toyota.
