An AvtoVAZ Employee Stole Keys To New Grants For Almost Two Weeks

An employee of the company was caught at AvtoVAZ, who was stealing the keys to new LadGranta straight from the assembly line. As the portal "Lada.Online" told, they tried to calculate it for more than a week.

• The first loss was discovered on September 2, after which a new series of thefts occurred every two days. On cars that were left without keys, all the locks from the steering columns and doors had to be removed. After that, the workers of AvtoVAZ installed new kits with numbered keys and made the appropriate changes to the documentation.
• To catch the kidnapper, round-the-clock control was introduced on the assembly line. The attacker was caught red-handed on September 13 at the beginning of the second hour of the night. It turned out to be one of the mechanics of the shop.

• Later, the man was found to have several new keys and doorknobs from Granta. He kept them in his locker in the factory locker room. According to police, a locksmith was illegally taking out parts for sale. He is now dismissed and is under investigation.
