Bulgarians Turned British Caterham Into A 653-horsepower Electric Car

The Bulgarian company Kinetik Automotive, which develops and builds sports cars, presented its first model - the electric Kinetik 07. The novelty is built on the basis of the Caterham roadster, but at the same time 91 percent consists of original parts.

• The Kinetik 07 is equipped with a 653 hp electrical unit. and 800 Nm. The roadster accelerates from zero to 100 km / h in 2.7 seconds. The creators do not give the rest of the characteristics - they continue to work on the prototype of the model in order to improve the performance.

• Compared to Caterham, the Bulgarian roadster has changed its retro appearance to a modern one, but the brand features remain, for example, the absence of a roof and windows. At the same time, the model is admitted to ordinary roads. Many of the Kinetik 07's body parts are 3D printed.
• Kinetik Automotive plans to obtain certification as a small-scale manufacturer in the United States and build seven examples of the 07 Roadster. Later, the company intends to open a showroom in Monaco.
