Rosstandart announced the recall of 161,957 Nissan Note and Tiida vehicles. All recalled vehicles were produced between January 2007 and August 2014.
- Cause: Defect in the pyrotechnic cartridge of the front passenger airbag gas generator. Due to high humidity, the gas generator body can crack, and if the airbag is deployed, fragments of the body can seriously injure the passenger.
- Gas generator replacement will be free for car owners.
