Photos Of A Small Crossover Alfa Romeo Leaked To The Network

AlfRomeo, within the framework of closed focus groups, held a demonstration of the serial compact crossover Tonale. Together with the Italian off-road vehicle, the Audi Q3, BMW X2, Range Rover Evoque and Nissan Qashqai were exhibited. Photos from the event appeared on the Web and were published by Al Volante.

• The serial AlfRomeo Tonale will be almost an exact copy of the concept of the same name, presented in the spring at the Geneva Motor Show. The differences lie in larger optics, full-fledged rear-view mirrors and the usual handles on the front doors (at the back there are branded secret ones located next to the windows).

• In Geneva, representatives of the Italian brand announced that the crossover will receive a hybrid power plant with the ability to charge from external sources, as well as an all-electric driving mode.
• According to rumors, Tonale will be built on the front-wheel drive Small US Wide platform with a transverse engine arrangement, on which the Jeep Renegade and Compass crossovers are based. Each of them can be equipped with a 190-horsepower hybrid plant with a 1.3-liter turbo engine and two electric motors - one of them is mounted on the rear axle.
• The AlfRomeo Tonale crossover will go on sale in 2021.
