Video: Teslas Will Learn To Warn Of Their Approach By Bleating A Goat

Elon Musk on his Twitter revealed the details of the fresh update of Tesla models. In the near future, owners of electric vehicles will be able to choose any sounds that their cars will make to alert others. Including very specific ones.
- In the new firmware, a list of preset melodies will appear to replace the standard beep and sound, which is mandatory for electric cars when driving at low speeds to warn pedestrians. The list will include a variety of options, including the bleating of a goat or the clatter of coconut halves, imitating the clatter of hooves from the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."
- The next update will allow owners of electric vehicles to upload their own audio files instead of the standard ones. Whether any requirements will be introduced for them is still unknown. The timing of the release of the new firmware with the ability to change the sound effects is not reported.
-
Before the official withdrawal of the new function, Tesla will have to settle all legal issues. Not in all countries it is allowed to change the sound of the beep, for example, to a horn or siren.
