Sales of the updated SkodSuperb family, represented by a liftback (from 2 097 000 rubles) and a station wagon (from 2 210 000 rubles), have started in Russia. There is only one engine so far - a two-liter petrol "turbo four" with a capacity of 190 hp. (320 Nm). The unit is combined with a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches.
In 2020, the Russian SkodSuperb lineup will include petrol versions with a 150-horsepower 1.4 and top-end two-liter versions with 220 and 280 horsepower engines. The latter will be available only in four-wheel drive vehicles.
- There are three configurations to choose from. The basic Ambition (from 2 097 000 rubles) has 16-inch wheels, LED optics, fabric-trimmed seats (front - heated), dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors and an eight-inch screen multimedia system.
- The Style version (from 2 353 000 ₽) will have 17-inch wheels, matrix headlights, front parking sensors, an electric tailgate, heated rear seats, as well as an electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory.
The top-of-the-line Laurin & Klement (from RUR 2,680,000) is retrofitted with adaptive shock absorbers, a lane tracking assistant, blind spot monitoring, rear window tinted, leather upholstery, alarm and 610-watt Canton audio system with 11 speakers and a subwoofer.
The base cost of SkodSuperb before the update was 1 751 000 ₽: this is how much they asked for a car with a 150-horsepower engine. 1 792 000 ₽ cost a car with a 1.8-liter turbo engine for 180 forces, which gave way to a new two-liter unit.
