Video: A Flying Car Will Be Developed In Russia
Engineers from the design laboratory of the Chaplygin Siberian Aviation Research Institute, which is located in Novosibirsk, began developing a flying car. The agency RIA " was informed about it in the press service of the Foundation for Advanced Research (FPI).
- According to the plans, the device will be able to take off and land on an area of 50 by 50 meters, around which objects up to 15 meters high are closely located. The flight range of the car will be 1000 kilometers with a maximum speed of over 300 km / h and a carrying capacity of up to 500 kilograms.
- Engineers from Novosibirsk will create a design project for the future car, test prototypes in a wind tunnel, build a working copy and test it on the ground and in the air. It is assumed that all these stages will be completed by 2023.
- According to the creators, the device will become the first Russian flying car. But it is not yet known whether it will be a drone or a person will be needed to control it.
