Toyota Camry Became All-wheel Drive

Toyot has unveiled the e-Four for the latest generation Camry sedan. It is a hybrid and is intended for the Japanese market only.

• The 211-horsepower Camry with four-wheel drive is powered by a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 178 horsepower. (221 Nm), an electric motor for 120 forces (202 Nm) and a variator. The rear axle is powered by another 7.2 hp electric motor. (55 Nm), which works at speeds up to 10 km / h, helping the car to move. The all-wheel drive system is designed for use in the mountainous regions of Japan.

• Both motors are powered by a 6.5 Ah nickel-cadmium battery, which is better at handling freezing temperatures than a lithium-ion battery. At the same time, the ground clearance of the all-wheel drive Camry has been increased by 10 millimeters (up to 155).
• All-wheel drive ToyotCamry will arrive at Japanese dealers in mid-December. The base cost is 3,654,000 yen (2.18 million rubles).
