Video: Brand New Mitsubishi Outlander First Caught By Photo Spies

Mitsubishi Motors began testing the fourth generation Outlander crossover on road. Photos from tests taking place in the United States were published by Motor1.

Despite the tight camouflage, it is clear that the new Mitsubishi Outlander will receive an appearance similar to the Engelberg Tourer concept unveiled this spring. The crossover differs from the current model in its two-story head optics, angular door glass frames and enlarged lamps.
- The Outlander is rumored to be a co-platform for the next generation Nissan X-Trail, as Mitsubishi Motors joined the Renault-Nissan alliance in 2016.
- The crossover can get a hybrid power plant, consisting of a 2.4-liter aspirated and two electric motors - this was announced by the Engelberg Tourer. It provides an electric power reserve of 70 kilometers, and together with a gasoline engine - 700 kilometers.
- The official premiere of the fourth generation Mitsubishi Outlander will take place in 2020.
