From September 1, 2019, Olivier Kempf has been appointed Marketing Director for the Russian division of Renault. Previously, this position was held by Francisco Hidalgo-Marquez, who remained in the Renault group.
Olivier Kempf was educated at business schools in Nantes and Paris. According to Avto.ru, 89.3 thousand new Renault passenger cars were registered in Russia in 8 months of 2019, which is 4.7% more than last year's result. The brand's share reaches almost 9% of the total volume of new cars. According to the Forbes rating, Renault's revenue in the Russian market in 2018 amounted to 137.3 billion rubles (plus 8.8%).
