Nissan Patrol Has Been Updated. Now Officially

Nissan has declassified the restyled Patrol. This is the second major update in the model's nine-year history, and this time the SUV has been visibly changed from the outside and received several new options.

• The front end of the Nissan Patrol has got LED headlights with boomerang-shaped running lights, a new bumper and an enlarged grille. No changes are visible on the side, but at the rear there is a full-width chrome strip and lights with the same pattern as the front. The SUV also has dynamic turn signals, a first for a Nissan model.
• The cabin has two monitors. The top one is for displaying the picture of the multimedia system, and the bottom one is for controlling multimedia, which now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The seats have received a new profile and quilted leather upholstery, and as an option, the front seats are complemented by ventilation and an electric lumbar cushion. The steering wheel is trimmed with leather by hand.
• The Nissan Patrol equipment list has been expanded with an emergency braking function with pedestrian recognition and a frontal collision warning system. The air conditioning system and sound insulation have undergone revision.

• There are no changes in technique. In the Middle East, where the presentation of the updated SUV took place, the model is equipped with gasoline atmospheric engines - a four-liter V6 with a capacity of 279 hp. (394 Nm) and 405-horsepower 5.6 V8 (560 Nm). The motors are combined with a seven-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive.

Sales of the restyled Nissan Patrol in the Middle East begin this month. The SUV left the Russian market in 2017 and it is not yet known whether it plans to return.
