Toyota Sold 10 Millionth Land Cruiser

Sales of SUVs of the Land Cruiser series of all generations and modifications have crossed the mark of 10 million units. This was announced by Toyota, specifying that this number includes the Land Cruiser Prado model, as well as soplatform cars sold under the Lexus brand - GX and LX.

• The history of the Land Cruiser began on August 1, 1951 with the ToyotJeep BJ model. In the early years, the company sold an average of one hundred SUVs a year, but by 1965 this number had grown to 10,000 vehicles a year. The company currently sells about 400,000 Land Cruiser SUVs and soplatform models a year, and the model itself is officially presented in 170 countries.
• More than 400,000 SUVs were purchased in Russia from 2002 to August 2019 - this is the largest market for a Land Cruiser in Europe.

• In honor of the sale of the 10 millionth car, Toyota will hold thematic events for SUV owners throughout Russia.
