Here's How A Pile Of Rusty Iron Turns Into A Beautiful Jaguar E-Type

This 1964 Jaguar E-Type has been overgrown with moss in the forest for 30 years. The previous owner planned to restore it, but was unable to do so due to illness. The car then fell into the hands of the specialists of the E-Type UK restoration workshop, who worked a real miracle and turned the car into a perfect show piece. This is what Jaguar looked like when it was found.

The interior of the car was completely rotted, and the roof and body struts were badly damaged. But the independent rear suspension, subframe and chassis were in quite tolerable condition.

During the restoration, many parts had to be made from scratch. The atelier independently made a half of the car, welded on a new roof, and then spent about sixty hours painting and polishing the body. Here are some photos from the restoration process.

Now the restored car is estimated at £ 100,000 (more than eight million rubles). And the car looks like this.
