Ferrari has unveiled an open version of the 812 Superfast coupe, which received the GTS prefix. According to the creators, this is the most powerful roadster currently offered on the market, as well as the first open version from Maranello in half a century with a V12 located in front, the circulation of which will not be limited. That is, it is the direct heir to the 1969 Ferrari 356 GTS4 (aka DaytonSpider).

  • The Ferrari 812 GTS is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with 800 hp. (718 Nm) and a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches. Acceleration to "hundreds" of the novelty takes less than three seconds, and to 200 km / h - 8.3 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds longer than the coupe. The maximum speed of the roadster, like that of the closed version, exceeds 340 km / h.

  • The 812 GTS hard top lifts or folds in 14 seconds at speeds up to 45 km / h. The electric retractable roof made the model 75 kilograms heavier (the dry weight of the roadster is 1600 kilograms), for which the engineers had to reconfigure the adaptive shock absorbers with magnetorheological fluid.
  • Another difference from the coupe is the glass partition behind the seats. It reduces air turbulence in the cabin, but it can be lowered electrically to "open up" the exhaust sound for those sitting inside.
  • The first buyers will get the Ferrari 812 GTS before the end of 2019, but the roadster's price has been kept under wraps.
