Video: Updated Kia Mohave: Modified Suspension, Six Seats And Old Motor
Ki started selling the restyled Mohave SUV in South Korea. Along with the start of sales, the automaker revealed technical details and showed photos of the model's interior.
The body structure of KiMohave has not changed, but the front and rear design has been completely redesigned. The attachment points of the body to the frame have undergone revision - this has reduced vibrations. In the rear suspension, the angles of the shock absorbers have changed, which should have a positive effect on the smoothness of the ride.
- The interior is finished with new materials: the front panel is upholstered in leather and decorated with wood inserts. Also appeared multimedia with a 12.3-inch display and voice control, a projection screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 15-speaker Lexicon audio system.
- For the SUV, 20-inch wheels are now available, a six-seater cabin configuration with separate seats in the second row (versions for five and seven seats also remain), an electric tailgate, adaptive cruise control with a full stop function, as well as lane keeping and monitoring systems blind spots.
- Three-liter V6 turbodiesel with 260 hp. (560 Nm) and the eight-speed "automatic" have not changed. The all-wheel drive based on the multi-plate clutch also remained the same, but the SUV now has modes for driving in mud, sand and snow.
In South Korea, the initial cost of the revamped KiMohave has grown from 44,420,000 won (2.44 million rubles) to 47,000,000 won (2.59 million rubles). In Russia, the SUV will appear in 2020.
