At the auto show in Chengdu, China, the premiere of the restyled sedan Hyundai Verna, which is known in Russia as Solaris, took place. The four-door has changed greatly in appearance and has lost the most powerful engine.

The screen of the multimedia system has increased so much that it no longer fits on the front panel, so it is located on top of it. Options include wireless charging for smartphones, automatic braking and lane tracking systems.
• The Chinese Verna will have only a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated 100 hp, and a 123-hp 1.6-liter will no longer be offered. Six-speed gearboxes - mechanical and automatic.
• In China, the updated Hyundai Vern sedan will go on sale by the end of 2019. There is no information about the restyling of the Russian model yet.
