
Video: Aurus Senat Will Receive A Lightweight Version With Rear-wheel Drive

Certification documents for the first models of the Russian brand Aurus - the Senat S600 sedan and the Senat L700 limousine - have appeared in the Rosstandart database. Thanks to them, details of all the modifications of the luxurious four-doors became known.




- In addition to the all-wheel drive version, which was officially announced, a rear-wheel drive version has been prepared for the Aurus Senat. The curb weight of the mono-drive sedan is immediately 450 kilograms lower than that of the Aurus with four drive wheels - 2585 versus 3035 kilograms. The armored Senat S600 weighs 5420 kilograms, and the protected Senat L700 weighs 6340 kilograms. All versions are strictly four-seater.

All Aurus Senats are equipped with a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol with 598 hp. (880 Nm), an electric motor that produces in different modes from 38 to 63 forces, and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The internal combustion engine is powered by AI-98 gasoline.
- In terms of dimensions, the Aurus Senat S600 turned out to be larger than the Mercedes-Maybach S-class. The length of the Russian sedan is 5630 millimeters (168 mm more than the "German"), the width is 2018 mm (119 mm wider), the height is 1717 mm (219 mm higher). The Aurus is second only in wheelbase size - 3300 mm versus 3365. The Senat L700 limousine is exactly one meter longer than the sedan.
- The list of available equipment for Aurus is quite impressive: door closers, pre-heater, all-round visibility system with top view mode, heated steering wheel, four-zone climate control, two USB connectors, refrigerator, 230 Volt socket, folding tables, curtains for rear windows with an electric drive, as well as a variety of security systems.
Earlier, the first Aurus showroom was opened in the Moscow-City business center. At the same time, the base cost of the Senat S600 sedan was announced - 18 million rubles.
