Igor Malyarov has been appointed the new chairman of the board of directors of Rolf. In this position, he replaced the founder of the automobile holding Sergey Petrov, who resigned from the board of directors in connection with a criminal case against him. A new deputy chairman of the board of directors has also been appointed, Kommersant reports.

Igor Malyarov previously headed the Pelikan-Auto company, which became part of Rolf in 2016, and until recently held the post of strategic development advisor to an auto retailer. Yekaterina Kolmakova, ex-head of Delance Ltd and Sinoco Ltd, holding companies of the Rolf group in Cyprus, became his deputy in the new position.

In addition to Sergei Petrov, another top manager of Rolf, Anatoly Kairo, is under investigation - he also resigned from the board of directors of the auto holding. Kairo is now under house arrest. Petrov and Kairo are accused of illegally withdrawing four billion rubles abroad using a fraudulent scheme. Both top managers deny the charges. Petrov said that the case against the company looks like a raider takeover, the TFR's accusation is unfounded, and that the auto holding has all the evidence of the legality of the transaction.
