MINI has unveiled the all-electric Cooper SE hatchback. This is the first serial electric car of the brand.
184 hp electric motor. (270 Nm) the hatchback BMW i3s shared with the novelty. The motor is installed at the front and rotates the front wheels. From zero to 60 km / h MINI Cooper SE accelerates in 3.9 seconds, and to "hundreds" - in 7.3 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 150 km / h.
- A lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 32.6 kWh in a T-shape is integrated into the center tunnel, keeping the 211-liter boot volume unchanged. The power reserve without recharging is 235-270 kilometers. It takes 3.5 hours to fully charge from an 11-kilowatt AC station. The more powerful 50 kW terminal can charge the battery up to 80 percent in just 35 minutes.
- To protect the battery, the ground clearance of the Cooper SE has been increased by 18 millimeters (up to 161 mm). The electric powerplant made the hatchback 145 kilograms heavier than the 192-horsepower gasoline Cooper S with an automatic transmission.
- Externally, the MINI Cooper SE is distinguished by color accents, a partially enclosed radiator grille, different bumpers, more aerodynamic rear-view mirrors, specially designed wheels and a hatch with electrical connectors. The cabin has an electronic parking brake and a 5.5-inch digital instrument cluster.
In Europe, the MINI Cooper SE hatchback will not appear soon - only in march 2020 … The base cost in Germany is 32,500 euros (2.32 million rubles).
