The electric vehicle is built by Brooklyn-based Riker Electric Motor, founded in 1888 by engineer Andrew Lawrence Riker. The copy put up for sale belonged to him - Riker won the first 50-mile (80 kilometers) race in America on it.
- The original number plate with the owner's initials has been preserved on the electric car. According to auctioneers, this is the first officially registered license plate in the United States.
- There is a two-seater sofa under a folding soft top. Behind the canopy, in the rear of the body, there is another seat, like in a carriage. When the electric car was new, it could accelerate to 64 km / h, and the range on a single charge was 80 kilometers. At the time of its introduction, it was the fastest vehicle, overtaking the first cars with gasoline and steam engines.
