At a special event, BMW's motorcycle division, Motorrad, debuted a unique concept - a pickup truck based on the BMW X7. The flagship SUV was turned into a truck by 12 trainees of the German company with the direct participation of BMW specialists. It took 10 months to implement.

-
The car received a cargo platform, hand-finished with teak wood and carbon fiber. The compartment is 140 centimeters long when closed. If the rear flap is folded back, the length will increase to 200 centimeters and the BMW F 850 GS motorcycle will fit in the pickup.
- Despite the fact that the body of the pickup is 10 centimeters longer than the standard X7, the concept turned out to be 200 kilograms lighter than the donor crossover. This was achieved through the use of 3D-printed composite materials, as well as carbon fiber elements on the roof, rear doors and the lid of the cargo compartment.
- The source for the project was a prototype that was to be disposed of. The concept is equipped with a 340-horsepower gasoline "turbo-six" 3.0, eight-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive. A serial BMW X7 with such an engine (xDrive40i version) costs from RUB 6,100,000 in Russia.
