Hyundai at a press conference dedicated to the results of sales in the first half of the year, revealed its plans to introduce new products to the Russian market.

• As the newspaper "Autoreview" writes, sales of the restyled Cret crossover in Russia will begin before the end of 2019. However, there is no information on the scale of the updates yet. It is also not known when the second generation of the model will appear on the Russian market - such a novelty debuted in China in the spring.

• By the end of 2019, the Tucson crossover will replace the 177-horsepower "turbo four" 1.6 for a 2.4-liter gasoline "aspirated" with a capacity of 184 hp. In 2018, the range of motors on the soplatform KiSportage was updated in the same way.
• The senior Hyundai SantFe will get a petrol 3.5 V6 with a capacity of 249 hp this year, which is also installed on the KiSorento Prime.
• The Russian debut of the new generation Hyundai Sonat sedan and the eight-seat Palisade crossover (they are already on sale in South Korea and the USA) are scheduled for 2020.
• The Russian representative office of Hyundai is considering the possibility of starting sales in our country of the compact crossover Kona. The model, made for Europe, the US and South Korea, debuted in 2017 and is offered with petrol and diesel engines as well as an all-electric powertrain.
