The Avtodom company has expanded its portfolio with a new brand - the German brand Audi - and opened the Audi Center Altufyevo car showroom located in Moscow at the 85th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road. Previously, it belonged to the Genser group of companies.
The new dealership is the largest in Eastern Europe - 5 floors and almost 14 thousand square meters:
- a three-level showroom with an area of 9000 square meters, which can accommodate up to 100 cars;
- service area with an area of 2000 square meters, equipped with 15 work stations and 2 diagnostic posts;
- sales of both new and used cars certified under the "Used Audi: plus" program.
The AVTODOM company was founded in 1992 and today has 7 dealerships in Moscow and 2 in St. Petersburg. The company's portfolio includes 7 car brands - Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche and Smart, as well as one motorcycle - BMW Motorrad.
In 2018, the company sold 4.8 thousand new cars, which is 6% more than in 2017. The total revenue amounted to 26.15 billion rubles (plus 10%), according to "AutoBusinessReview".
According to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), in April 2019, Audi sales fell by 7%, and by 1% in 4 months. The overall sales of premium and luxury cars on the Russian market also do not look positive: in the first quarter, 11% fewer premium cars were registered in Moscow and St. Petersburg than in the previous year. In Russia as a whole for 3 months, the "luxury" segment sank by 15.1%.
