Opel has announced a hybrid version of the Grandland X crossover, dubbed the Hybrid4. The novelty turned out to be the most powerful in the current range.

-
The power plant of the hybrid Opel Grandland X is borrowed from the soplatform Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4. It includes a 1.6 PureTech petrol turbo engine with 200 hp, an eight-speed "automatic" with a wet clutch package instead of a torque converter and two 109-horsepower electric motors - one mated to the "automatic", the other is installed on the rear axle to drive the rear wheels. Total recoil - 300 horsepower.
- The power reserve of the all-wheel drive crossover is 50 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle. The lithium-ion traction battery with a capacity of 13.2 kWh is located under the second row of seats and does not affect the volume of the trunk.
- For the novelty, on-board chargers with a capacity of 3.3 or 6.6 kW are offered, and from the branded Wallbox device (7.4 kW) you can "fill" the battery in just 1 hour and 50 minutes. The crossover has four driving modes - fully electric, hybrid, sporty and off-road.
European sales of the Opel Grandland X Hybrid4 will begin in 2019. Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales. By the end of this year, the crossover will appear in Russia, but so far with traditional engines and only with front-wheel drive.
