Hond has announced the name of the urban electric hatchback for the European market, the pre-production version of which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring. The model will be called "E"… The conceptual version was called the E Prototype.
The automaker did not provide any additional details about the electric car. At the same time, Hond reported that more than 22,000 people… Orders for Honde will begin in Germany this summer.
The Japanese automaker has also confirmed that the next-generation Jazz hatchback will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain. This novelty will be presented in the fall at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The first version of the prototype urban electric car Hond made its debut in 2017… The concept car was called the Urban EV Prototype. It was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
- The declared range of the 2019 Geneva concept is 200 kilometers. Hond claims that E Prototype batteries can be recharged to 80 percent in 30 minutes, but this will require a dedicated charging station.
- The E Prototype has five displays. Two of them broadcast images from cameras that replace side mirrors.
