By the end of May, the Russian car market will become brighter, and this is not just hope. Just look at the cars that promise to visit our land! Yes, we have not chosen all the new items, but only those that are likely to arrive in Russia in the spring. And some of them are already on their way, so we meet boldly.
Porsche Cayenne Coupe
The brightest and most extraordinary novelty from Porsche came out not so long-awaited: the Germans simply did not let languish in anticipation of the coupe-like "Cayenne". The competitor to the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe with a lowered roof and a two-seater rear row was unveiled in mid-March, and orders opened almost immediately. The price tag ranges from 5,877,000 rubles for the base 340-horsepower Cayenne Coupe to 11,013,000 rubles for the 550-horsepower Turbo. This is for now. Further, of course, - steeper, more powerful and more expensive.
BMW 8 Series Convertible
The first good news: we have already rolled in the open eight and are ready to reveal all the innermost. The second and also good: the largest Bavarian Kubrick is aimed at our market and is already rushing to dealerships.
Slightly heavier (plus 125 kg to the coupe's weight) and much more open (the soft top retracts and rises in 15 seconds), the 8th series received two versions: gasoline and diesel. However, we will have one. It is called the M850i xDrive, has a 530-horsepower V8 and accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, which is two tenths slower than the coupe. The base price tag is 9,410,000 rubles, which is 840 thousand more expensive than the "usual" compartment 8-Series.
KiProCeed
The shooting break body is a big event for the Korean model (the former pro_Cee’d was a three-door hatchback) and a direct threat to SkodOctavia. Firstly, the ProCeed trunk holds 594 liters (versus 568 for Skoda), and secondly, ProCeed looks harmonious, stylish and almost premium. The start of sales in Russia is scheduled for April 30, and prices start from 1,519,900 rubles for the 140-strong version of the GT Line. But if you need faster and cooler, there is a 200-horsepower GT variant for almost two million rubles.
Range rover evoque
Land Rover has been taking orders for a new, small, but very adult-looking Evoque since winter, but the first living cars are just beginning to arrive in Russia. To find out everything about the new Evoque, absolutely everything or exhaustively everything, just follow the highlighted links, and here we will only remind you that the crossover is sent to us in five power options (from 180 to 300 forces), with gasoline and diesel, as well as hybrid version. Fan - exactly like that! - the prices are also impressive: from 2,929,000 rubles to 4,637,000 rubles. The kid has matured and increased in price, and this is a fact.
Diesel VW Tiguan
The Tiguan itself did not leave us, but its diesel version 2.0 TDI with a capacity of 150 horsepower (9.3 seconds to a hundred) disappeared from the Russian price list at the end of last year. And only in April Tiguan decided to return on diesel fuel. Thank you!
There will be five diesel trim levels: Offroad, Connect, Connect Plus, Highline and Sportline. And all with 4Motion all-wheel drive. For the initial Offroad, they will ask for 2,099,000 rubles, and for the top-end Sportline - at least 2,449,000 rubles.
The diesel itself is a familiar turbocharged two-liter four with a capacity of 238 forces (400 Nm), and the acceleration is the very same almost six seconds to a hundred.
Mercedes-Benz V-class
We will have a big and business van from Mercedes at the end of May, though with one "but". In Russia, the updated V-Class will appear with old engines: a 2.1-liter turbodiesel OM651 in three versions (V 200 d, V 220 d and V 250 d) with a capacity of 136, 163 and 190 forces and a two-liter gasoline engine with 211 horses. Four-wheel drive is available as an option.
Prices rose as expected. The younger V 200 d costs at least 3,457,000 rubles, which is 100,000 more. By the way, a new two-liter diesel OM654 is also being assembled in Russia, but much later. We suspect his debut is a 2020 event.
Restyled Volvo XC90
The end of the calendar spring is the time to welcome the Volvo XC90 with a slightly revamped front end. As in the case of Land Rover, Volvo is taking orders with might and main, but live crossovers will arrive by the end of spring or even early summer.
As before, the choice of motor, color, finish and options is as wide as possible. Under the hoods of the restyled XC90 are gasoline and diesel engines of the downsizing Drive-E family, and only the top version of the T8 Twin Engine hides a 407-horsepower hybrid tandem. Is it worth recalling the prices? Of course: from 3,955,000 rubles for the initial T5 (249 forces) to 6,191,000 rubles for the same hybrid.
Hyundai i30 N
The arrival of the hot N-version of the Korean golf class in Russia is one of the most coveted news of this season. It is a pity that Hyundai has not yet announced the exact dates of the i30 N debut, but, apparently, by the end of spring, we will have a 249-horsepower hatchback in a sports body kit. Recall that in addition to the basic version for our market, the Performance version is also certified, and this is already 275 forces and a couple of optional buns.
The i30 N's transmission is purely mechanical, and in addition there is an electronic diff (Performance) and adjustable exhaust flaps. And the chassis itself has been modified by Hyundai's sports N-division, so it won't be boring. We are waiting, even late.
