Video: Tesla Will Be Turned Into The World's Fastest Mobile Home

American traveler and entrepreneur Travis Rabenberg decided to build the world's first motorhome based on a Tesla electric car. So far, he published the first drawings of the project called Roamer, and Rabenberg will show the completely finished project already 17 april on display in Michigan.

At the heart of Roamer is the TeslModel S liftback in the P90D version, which was produced from 2015 to 2016. This model was equipped with two electric motors with a total power of 701 hp. (931 Nm). Rabenberg expects that his brainchild will be able to set the world speed record for mobile homes, accelerating up to 240 km / h.
- A residential superstructure will appear at the rear of the body. Inside will fit a bed, sink, toilet and water tanks. A solar panel capable of generating 1000 watts of electricity is planned to be installed in the lifting roof.

Wheels with off-road tires and a "chandelier" of additional lighting on the roof of Tesla are depicted for a reason. This summer, Travis Rabenberg plans to take his car on a cross-country trip in North America, and in 2020 he plans to drive a Roamer from the UK to Dubai.

The fastest RV is now a modified Mercedes-Benz Viano. It was created by the motorhome manufacturer Westfalia. In 2012, a 224-horsepower camper accelerated up to 222 km / h.
