  • The new Knobbly, like its predecessor, has a two-seater open body with a very low windshield, an oval radiator grille and round headlights.
  • There is no detailed information about the revived speedster, including about the car that became the donor, yet.

Lister was founded by racing driver Brian Lister in 1953. The company produced racing models with 334 hp Jaguar 3.8 six-cylinder engines, as well as with a 354 hp 4.2, but in 1959 the company went bankrupt due to the development of a new model.

In 1986, Lister was revived by Briton Lawrence Pearce, who until the mid-1990s was heavily reworking the Jaguar XJS.

In 2013, businessman Andrew Whittaker bought the company from Lawrence Pierce, and also acquired George Lister Engineering, which had the drawings of the racing cars. First, he started building Knobbly sports cars using original technologies, and then a modified 675-horsepower Jaguar F-Type coupe and a 680-horsepower Jaguar F-Pace crossover came out under the Lister brand.
