Toyot has launched a branded subscription for its cars. She will be called Kinto. The service makes it possible not to buy cars, but to drive them for a fixed monthly fee.

  • Subscription from Toyot will only be available in Japan (at least for now) and split for two programs … The first one is Kinto one - Unlocks Prius, CorollSport, Alphard, Vellfire and Crown. The selected vehicle can be used for three years, but you cannot change it to another one during this period. The subscription fee will vary from 46,100 to 99,000 yen per month, depending on the model and configuration (approximately 27,500 - 59,000 rubles).

  • The second program is called Kinto Select and includes six Lexus models (IS 300h, ES 300h, RC 300h, UX 250h, RX 450h and NX300h). The term of use is the same three years, but in this case the client can every six months, if desired, change the model … The price of all cars is fixed - 194,400 yen per month (115 750 rubles).

  • Kinto Select will start the sixth of February, and the basic Kinto One - first of March … Initially, the service will operate in a test mode: a “subscription” for a car can be obtained only at some Toyot and Lexus dealerships in Tokyo. In the summer, the Kinto network will expand throughout Japan and will operate at full capacity.

  • Toyot plans to add to the program later game element: users will receive safe driving bonuses, which can then be exchanged for a discount. The feature will launch this fall, but how exactly the company will track driving style and award points has not yet been announced.

  • Subscription cars are a fast growing form of car use and many automakers are launching such programs, but with varied success … For example, a subscription Care by Volvo was successful and Cadillac closed Book by Cadillac due to low popularity. However, the Americans intend to restart the program later with new conditions.
