Cross-coupe Geely Tugella May Fall In Price By 100 Thousand Rubles

Geely may expand the Tugella cross-coupe trim list, now consisting of a single Flagship variant, with a more affordable Luxury version. This is reported by the portal "Chinese Cars". According to him, some Russian dealers of the brand are already publishing relevant proposals.

• The publication, citing one of its readers, claims that regional dealers have begun accepting orders for a more affordable version of the Tugell and promised the availability of "live" cars in showrooms by early February. With the advent of a new configuration, the base price of the crossover should decrease by 100 thousand rubles - to 2,399,990 rubles.
• The price reduction will be achieved by abandoning some of the options that come with the Flagship by default - for example, some driver assistants. In addition, the trim will be simplified, and the current 20-inch wheels will be replaced by 19-inch wheels.
• At the same time, it is not planned to change the technical characteristics of the crossover. The more affordable version of the Tugell will continue to be equipped with a two-liter "turbo four" with 238 hp. and 350 Nm paired with an eight-band "automatic" and an all-wheel drive system.

• One of the younger models of the Russian Geely line - the Coolray crossover - may undergo the opposite transformation. In connection with the transfer of the off-road vehicle production to the Belarusian enterprise "BelGi", Coolray is planned to be deprived of the most expensive configuration of the Flagship Sport, which, however, differs from the "simple" Flagship only in some nuances of body decor.
