Famous car designer Samir Sadikhov posted on his Instagram a series of renders depicting a nonexistent Jeep model. He named the off-road minivan Vangler (from Van and Wrangler) and virtually prepared it for the most serious journeys.

  • Samir's renders are based on, as far as can be judged from the images, a Jeep Wrangler in a five-door modification. The rear half of the SUV body has hardly changed. However, the designer redrawn the front part almost completely.

  • Vangler is distinguished by a cab without a pronounced hood (although the proprietary radiator grill has not gone anywhere) and rectangular doors for the driver and front passenger. Apparently, the driver's seat is brought forward close to the windshield, and thus, the pilot has to get on his seat, bypassing his back.
  • The designer equipped the Vangler with developed wheel arches, power bumpers (on the front - a winch, on the rear - a bracket for a spare wheel), increased ground clearance and track, as well as additional light and an expeditionary trunk. In addition, Samir drew a "half-open" modification of the van, in which the traditional doors were replaced with lattice "gates".
  • At the moment, there is no such model in the Jeep brand line, but in the middle of the last century, the company produced the Forward Control model based on the Jeep CJ-5 - it existed both as a minivan like a “Loaf” and as a light truck. In 2012, the company built the Mighty FC concept based on this model, based on the Wrangler Rubicon, but the project did not receive serial implementation.

  • In September last year, Samir, whose portfolio includes projects for Lamborghini and Rezvani, published a similar off-road minivan project, but based on the Land Rover Defender.
