Video: Rare 1975 Ferrari With A Two-liter V8 Put Up For Sale On Automotive News

Automotive.ru has posted an ad for the sale of the 1975 Ferrari Dino 208 GT4 supercar. This model appeared when the Italians decided to install a two-liter V8 in the Dino 308 GT4 coupe. The 45-year-old car is estimated at 10.9 million rubles.

The Dino 208/308 GT4 were the last Ferraris to wear the Dino badge instead of the prancing stallion badge. The Dino line was originally named after Enzo Ferrari's late son Alfredo (Dino). Under this brand, relatively inexpensive models with V6 and V8 engines were sold.
- The Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 was presented in Paris in 1973. It was powered by a 255 horsepower 2.9-liter engine that was paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
- A simplified version of the Dino 208 GT4 (as advertised) released in 1975. This contradicts the description of the car on Automotive News, where the 1974 release is declared. But already in 1976, all Dino received the traditional Ferrari emblems on the body, so this is one of the 1975 coupes.
- Such a car got a two-liter engine, which at that time was considered the smallest production V8 in the world. The unit was intended exclusively for the Italian market and helped to circumvent the high tax on large motors. He developed 170 horsepower, which was enough to accelerate to a maximum of 220 kilometers per hour.

Ferrari in the ad has a black body combined with a cream-colored interior. On the odometer - 80 thousand kilometers, but the car is in excellent condition. The car comes with bright red seat covers.
- A total of 846 such coupes were produced (including pre-production copies), after which it was replaced by the 208 GTB model. Over the years, the Dino 208 GT4 has been owned by such celebrities as singer Elvis Presley, designer Gordon Murray and actor Adam West.
