Hyundai N has posted a teaser video of the mysterious charged model on its Instagram. The name of the new item has not been specified, but according to some indications, it can be concluded that the sports version of the Kona crossover will soon premiere.
- The message hidden by Hyundai in the new video teaser is laconic: "new N is coming to town", which can be translated as "new N is coming to town." The video tells about the delivery of a birthday cake, and the cake itself is painted in the corporate colors of the division and bears the N logo, and the courier is wearing a racing jumpsuit.
- Meanwhile, Hyundai N later posted on Instagram a photo of a sports helmet with a Santa hat, disguising it as a routine call for road safety. However, the helmet in this photo rests on the bonnet of a car covered in branded camouflage. According to the outline of the hood, the Motor1 edition concludes that the Hyundai KonN advertising campaign has started. In fact, this is the first official recognition of the manufacturer that the "charged" version of the SUV really exists.
The Hyundai Kon crossover underwent restyling last fall, with an updated exterior, richer interior and a revised engine range. The SUV has a version of the N Line with a 200-horsepower 1.6-liter "turbo four", but even then Hyundai did not announce the imminent release of a full-fledged "charged" version.
- According to preliminary data, Hyundai KonN will receive the same engine that powers the Veloster N. Thus, the crossover will have 275 hp available. and an advanced eight-stage "robot". The official debut of the sports crossover may take place in the coming weeks.
