Porsche has distributed renders of Polish photographer and petrolhead Tomek Makolski, who "captured" a toy Porsche 911 RSR on the roads of Dubai. Moreover, the Lego construction set, made on a scale of 1:10, was enlarged to the size of a real car.

  • Makolsky came up with the idea to make these images right after the release of the Lego Technic set. To do this, he flew to Dubai and photographed places where, in his opinion, the 911 RSR would look interesting. Next, he filmed a toy car in a studio in Warsaw and combined the shots, adding various effects. In 2017, Makolsky has already implemented a similar idea, preparing images of a full-size 911 GT3 RS from Lego on the streets of his hometown.

  • The 911 racing model was developed in collaboration with Porsche. It consists of 1,580 parts, while many mechanized parts are implemented in it - for example, the toy has movable steering and six-cylinder engine pistons. When assembled, the size of the constructor is 20x50x13 centimeters.
  • The 911 RSR in the version of the Lego set was introduced in 2016. One of its main features was the mid-engined layout (in the civilian 911s, it is rear-engined). The car performed well in the WEC and IMSA championships, and a new modification was demonstrated in 2019.
